Napier Street Aged Care Services has signed a binding Memorandum of Understanding and is going through the Due Diligence process for a potential merger with another Aged Care facility.
POSITION OBJECTIVE To support the Business and Finance Manager with accounting management tasks and matters related to the potential merger.
This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to become a permanent position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Assisting the Business and Finance Manager in redesigning the end-of-month reconciliation processAssisting the Business and Finance Manager in reviewing and improving the accounting process, many of which are in Excel spreadsheetsAssisting the Business and Finance Manager in providing all required due diligence documents and tasks for the potential mergerSorting files and documentation as part of the SharePoint projectAd hoc duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Valid Police Check is a MustHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages and SharePointMedium to advanced Excel skills, including but not limited to using formulas such as Pivot Table, SUMIF, and VLOOKUPMinimum of 3 years in a role processing end-of-month tasks as a general accountant, including all required reconciliations and JournalsAbility to perform basic analysis independently and complex analysis under instructionsAbility to manage time and meet key deadlinesAbility to achieve set objectives, inclusive of multi-taskingExcellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work with and communicate with a range of people from a range of backgroundsRelevant experience in aged care or a similar industry is preferred but not requiredCPA certification or progress towards CPA certification is preferred but not requiredIf this sounds like the role for you, please email your resume and cover letter to .
