Accountant

ROLE PURPOSE - The Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate production of allocated Profit and Loss Statements and accurate maintenance of allocated Balance Sheets in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards and company policies and procedures.
Key relationships: Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Team including Commercial Business Partners & Finance Partner
Skills & Experience: CA /CPA QualifiedTertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Related StudiesExperience in financial management accounting practicesExperience in use of spreadsheets and financial modelling with a view to improving processes and providing insightful data.Experience in business partnering and working as part of a commercial team.Articulate with excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.Key Tasks: Client Claims PreparationClient Liaison SupportEOM Process & Reporting - Month End Standard Journals, Prepayments, Accruals, Reallocation Journals, Review Opex to Capex etcReconciliationsMaintain Asset Register - Asset Disposal & AcquisitionsAssisting Commercial Business Partners where requiredWorking with Finance Manager on Process Improvement ProjectsAd hoc work as required by Finance ManagerWork From Home Flexibility: Team works from home Wednesdays & Fridays
