If you are a dedicated finance professional seeking a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to explore further.The Accountant is required to assist the Chief Financial Officer in the preparation and reporting of financial information for Axe Group.Responsibilities:Month-end reconciliations and reportingAccounts payableCredit card reconciliationsClient invoicing and Accounts ReceivableProcessing of fortnightly payrollPreparation and processing of monthly Payroll TaxesPreparation and processing of annual Worker's CompensationMaintaining the fixed asset registerQuarterly Business Activity StatementsAssistance with budgets preparation and analysisCompilation of various monthly reports for internal and external stakeholdersAssistance with annual Audit and Income Tax ReturnSupport process improvement and system enhancement initiativesReview and ensure the accuracy of financial informationSkills required:Excellent attention to detailExperience with MYOBCan multi-task and prioritiseGood at planning ahead on what needs to be doneProblem-solving: identify delivery issues and provide a plan to fixExcellent communication with both clients, vendors, various government organisations and internal stakeholders regarding invoices, statutory obligations and payrollWell presented, polite, respectfulPersonal attributes required:Possess excellent communication skillsDetail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skillsStrong analytical and inter-personal skillsBe able to work independently and in a teamSelf-motivated and proactive
