THE TRUSTEE FOR THE YASENDRI & SHEDDEN FAMILY TRUST – Melbourne VICAccountantTikiri Pty Ltd/Tikiri Group of CompaniesMelbourne CBDFull timeWe are seeking a full-time Accountant to work for the Tikiri Group of Companies.Duties and Responsibilities:Advising a reliable cash flow and financial projection to management for capital expenditures and new business and financial risks of capital investment projectsDiscussing and reporting financial health of the business with company director/managementAnalysing and reviewing on the company's income and expenditurePreparing financial reports and performing financial investigations and auditsProviding assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirementsFormulating manual accounting guidelines and reviewing the compliance of financial reports with the account standardsSupervising bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functionsPreparing profits and loss statements, month-end and year-end cost accounting reports and closing processesImplementing accounting systems and supervising admin team's use of the systemsAdvising and maintaining the implementation of computer-based accounting systemsMaintaining and reviewing the company's internal control systemsLiaising with external auditorsCalculating and preparing reliable costing structure for all of the company's productsPreparing GST and PAYG reconciliation for Business Activity Statement LodgementReviewing the company's tax returns and annual reports and advising management in relation to financial health and liabilitiesProviding advice on taxation, purchase and financingBusiness analysis of expenses and revenueDeveloping accounting policies and budget developmentSetting budgets for departments within the companySkills and Qualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar fieldA minimum of 3 years' experience as an AccountantAbout the Role:The position will be located at Melbourne CBD and must be able to travel to our branch offices located at Pakenham (VIC 3810) and Moorabbin (VIC 3189).Full time work: 38 hours per weekSalary: $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experienceExcel & Word competencyExperience in software packages including Myob, Kitomba and Xero is preferred.Excellent written and spoken EnglishPreference will be given to candidates with experience in healthcare, real estate, construction and aviation industriesAdditional Information:Citizens, Permanent Residents, Work permit or temporary or any other working visa holders can apply for this job.Schedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay Types:Performance bonusEducation:Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferredExperience:Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)How to Apply:For an application to be considered, it is essential that applicants include:(1) a Cover Letter,(2) a Detailed Resume,(3) Answer to screening questions.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
