About The CompanyOur client is a multi-award-winning NT Construction company based in Darwin who have completed major Defence, industrial, community, commercial and remote construction projects across the NT.About The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Accountant to join our client's team in Berrimah. This role involves handling statutory financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. While a CPA qualification is not required, expert Excel skills and a keen eye for detail are essential. You'll need to be a self-starter who can work independently and contribute from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalysis & Reporting: Proactively analyse, interpret, and report financial data, providing insights and identifying risks to key stakeholders.Fixed Asset Register: Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register, producing reports and forecasts.Month-End Processes: Prepare accrual journals, reconciliations, and assist with management and external reports.Tax Reporting: Assist with Payroll Tax, BAS, FBT.
