In your role, you will be joining an existing team of UX designers and developers to launch their latest product - automating tax calculations for micro entities and sole traders.The following skills / experience is essential: A Senior Accountant in practice who has vast experience in advising and filing GST (VAT) and corporation tax for SMEs and individuals.An accounting and tax expert who is confident in the preparation and filing process of corporation and income tax (focus on small businesses is a plus).You can communicate tax and accounting effectively and in simple language to a team that has little or no knowledge of bookkeeping and taxes.You are ambitious and creative when it comes to problem-solving and have a deep affinity for technological processes - assisting the team in translating accounting and tax rules into clever code that automates processes for their clients.A passion for accounting.You have experience in dealing with customers directly and helping solve more complex tax situations.You have an analytical mindset that can break down complex legislation into simple step-by-step processes.If you are interested and meet the above requirements, please apply immediately.Job Title: Accountant - Small Business Expert / Fast Growing FinTechType: Full-time - HybridLocation: Sydney, AustraliaSalary: $120,000 AUD - $180,000 AUD + package
