As TSA's Accountant you will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial activities of the organisation. You will be responsible for providing financial information to all department managers across TSA Group. Job Description You will be responsible for the maintenance and delivery of: Managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking and inter-company reconcilliations Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, overseeing fixed assets and depreciation schedules Preparation of payroll tax, reconciliation of superannuation payments and check of BAS calculations Assist with reporting consolidated results at a group level Assist with monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, and internal management reports Assisting in preparation of year end statutory accounts Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives Proactively identify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation Supervision of any Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff Training and mentoring junior staff Ensuring Accounting standards and policies are adhered to Studies current and new legislation to ensurecompliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations Qualifications About You: Must have a Diploma or equivalent in Finance/Accounting/Business/Commerce Strong commercial and business acumen Process anddeadline driven mindset with a keen eye for detail Critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to work with minimum supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis Additional Information Want to know more?
