About the role: We're looking for a talented and motivated Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with 1-3 years of experience in accounting to grow and develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities: · Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and reconciliations ·Support in the preparation of management reports, financial forecasts, budgets, and models to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify potential risks and opportunities ·Assist in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including GST and ASIC reporting, as well as assisting with ad hoc reporting such as income tax calculations and quarterly sales commission calculations Most importantly, you'll work alongside a supportive team and inspiring leadership that will help you grow and develop your career. About you:Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or similar qualificationCPA or CA qualification in progress or completedPrevious relevant experience in a similar role within a professional services or similar environmentStrong knowledge of transactional accounting, management accounting, and financial accounting principles and practicesFamiliarity with internal controls and compliance requirements is desirableExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisationAdvanced Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly ExcelWhy join us: At NCS Australia, you'll be part of a team that values your growth and development.
