You will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring accurate transactions, managing budgets, and providing professional advice to internal teams. In this key role, you'll handle monthly reporting, compliance tasks, and financial system administration—all while driving business improvements and supporting sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable, receivable, and capital accountingOversee month-end processes, journal entries, and reconciliationsPrepare financial reports and compliance documentation (FBT, audits)Provide expert financial advice and system training to managers and staffMonitor budgets and support decision-making for operational and capital fundingTo be considered for the role you'll have: A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business (CPA/CA preferred)Experience in accounting/financial operations with strong analytical skillsProficiency with accounting software and ExcelA can-do attitude with customer focus and an eye for continuous improvementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholdersSound like you? Salary The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4, $93,548 - $112,895 salary range and will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
