The Opportunity Join our dynamic finance team, where you'll play a key role in partnering with our accountants to drive excellence in financial reporting, compliance, and auditing. You'll provide valuable financial insights and ensure strong governance, all while helping to shape our future and optimise success. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with senior leaders at G8, assisting with delivering monthly and annual reports, and leading initiatives to improve processes and performance. This role is a maximum-term opportunity on a full-time basis until the end of July 2025. Your day-to-day No two days are the same; this role is diverse, with depth and breadth to cement your career, now and into the future. Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to: Preparing and reconciling entries Preparing and analysing monthly profit and loss results Performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial result each period Acting as a business partner within and/or to different Support Office Departments Creating detailed work instructions for tasks linking to G8 policies and developing new and improved ways of working Assisting with internal and external audit requirements by answering queries and providing information on a timely basis. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experiences: 3+ years of experience in a similar role Degree qualified with CPA/CA or studying towards Intermediate Excel skills Strong technical accounting skills Strong focus on process improvement Desired experience working within an ASX-listed company.
