Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to facilitate the delivery of financial services, including reporting, treasury, corporate governance, and more. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial matters for the company. This position is based in Adelaide's CBD and offers full-time permanent employment.
What you'll do:Oversee corporate systems of financial analysis and reporting to ensure effectiveness and compliance with statutory requirements.Manage Company Debtors & Creditors, General Ledger Accounts & Reconciliations, and Company Fixed Assets.Assist with the management of Company Insurance Policies.Prepare Annual EOFY Financial Information reporting pack for external accountants.Provide financial support to projects, including project budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and cost control.Manage company cash flow, foreign exchange & working capital.Responsible for the timely preparation & lodgement of Income Activity Statements (IAS) and GST (BAS) returns.Manage the budgeting process.Assist with the management of Company Payroll.Ensure compliance with Corporations Law for all ASIC regulatory and reporting matters.What you bring:Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification (or working towards completion).Minimum 3-5 years financial/accounting experience within complex industry environment.Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices and Australian Accounting Standards.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS suite, large ERP systems (advantageous).Ability to work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision.Ability to problem solve through use of policies, guidelines and procedures relevant to the role.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
