The Woolworths Group Finance team is positioned to support change and continuous improvement across the business whilst continually focusing on providing excellent customer experiences to key stakeholders.
What you'll do Review, investigate and provide insights on the Imports business unit overhead position and maintain balance sheet integrity of Import accounts.
Perform month-end reconciliations with a clear description of outstanding items, supporting documentation and an action plan for clearance Ensure financial controls are in place and reviewed regularly to comply with accounting policies, standards Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships, proactively identify and communicate key insights, and effectively address queries Drive initiatives and strategies to continuously improve processes, demonstrating a strong understanding of business needs and reporting considerations What you'll bring CA or CPA qualification, or working towards coupled with 2+ years relevant experience (retail/large corporate an advantage) Communicate findings effectively through compelling presentations and storyboarding, translating complex data into clear narratives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesise large amounts of data from various sources, identifying key insights and solutions.
Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g.
