This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and supporting the company's strategic financial goals.The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in financial reporting, budget management, tax compliance, and strategic financial analysis, contributing to the financial stability and growth of our business.Key Responsibilities:Policy Development: Assist in formulating and implementing budgetary and accounting policies to ensure alignment with AASB, IFRS, and company strategic goals.Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements for management and the board of directors, complying with AASB and IFRS standards.Tax Management: Provide expert advice on Australian tax legislation, prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals and organizations, and ensure full compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations.Financial Audits & Advisory: Conduct comprehensive financial audits and provide strategic advice on significant transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments, with a focus on risk mitigation.Cost & Expenditure Management: Analyze operational costs and expenditures, offering insights and recommendations to enhance budgeting processes and financial performance.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory financial reporting requirements and maintain accurate financial records for regulatory bodies.Cash Flow & Risk Management: Evaluate cash flow, capital investment risks, and financial risk factors.
