About the role Working within a well-established team, this role will have the support of their COO and CFO to ensure the accurate preparation and reporting of the financials from both a head office and branch level. Working with the business, there is opportunity to work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve their reporting and processes, creating more streamlined and insightful information. This is a great opportunity to understand financials from the ground up, working in partnership with the branches and supporting an organisation that has community at its core. Your duties will include: Oversight of and reviewing the workflow of the bookkeeper Reconciliations (GL, bank, balance sheet etc) Preparation of EOM accounts including management reporting and analysis Develop and review budgets and forecasts in consultation with branch manager including cashflows Work with branches to ensure expenditure is within funding guidelines and documentation is accurate Preparation of external reporting requirements Preparation of external audits Backup of payroll About you Offering an excellent amount of work/life balance and flexibility, our client is seeking an experienced Accountant looking to give back to the community in a role that will allow you to take ownership and add value to the organisation.
