The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services while fostering long-lasting client relationships.Job Description / The role:Serve as the primary contact for a diverse client base, ensuring prompt and professional service and target delivery.Prepare and review statutory and management accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and timely delivery.Oversee and assist in the preparation and submission of corporation tax, self-assessment, payroll, and VAT returns.Provide strategic business advice, including budgeting and financial planning, to support clients' growth and profitability.Lead and mentor staff, encouraging a collaborative and supportive team environment.Identify and implement enhancements to internal processes to improve efficiency and service quality.Develop and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust.Represent the business at networking events.What we need from you / Requirements / What you will have:Client manager / portfolio: 1 year (preferred)Team management: 1 year (preferred)Working in an accountancy practice: 4 years (required)ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.Proven experience managing a client portfolio and delivering comprehensive accounting services.Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams or staff members, with a focus on mentoring and team development.Strong technical proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft packages.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong client relationships.Demonstrated leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring and team development.Benefits:Additional leaveCasual dressCompany eventsCompany pensionHealth & wellbeing programmeOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceReferral programmeApplications are encouraged from all sectors of the community.GEN#J-18808-Ljbffr
