As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:
• The preparation of financial statements, taxation returns and tax plans for a wide range of individual and business clients.
• The preparation of additional statutory reporting requirements, including payroll tax and WorkCover.
• The creation and implementation of business cash flow, forecasting and other various value-add reporting material.
• The preparation of Business Activity Statements.
• Corresponding with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients.
• Providing support and assistance to the management team.
To be successful in this role, Candidates should possess the following attributes:
• Completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major) or equivalent.
• Currently studying towards or recently attained CA/CPA qualifications.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience of business services and taxation experience.
• Sound knowledge of accounting, financial and business principles, and procedures • High-quality organisational and time management skills.
• Strong teamwork skills, with experience working towards team goals and KPIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
