Due to expansion, they are seeking a suitable and motivated Accountant to join their team.
Being renowned within the industry for their reliability and dedication of service, Vantage Point Roofing have increased their market share and are now seeking to employ an Accountant on a full time basis.
The Position...
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
• Taxation advice and minimization
• General banking duties
• Invoicing/billing
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Reconciliations (Bank accounts etc.
)
• Preparation of Financial Reports (month end etc.
)
• Budgeting
• Cash flow management
• Payroll
• Tax preparation and lodgement (BAS)
• Construction cost tracking, management, and forecasting
• Work within a supportive team environment to ensure the smooth operation of the business accounts.
• Manage the processing of the business' primary accounting information.
The Ideal Candidate will have...
• CA or CPA qualifications (or equivalent)
• Minimum of the 3 years accounts experience
• Previous experience within the construction industry is desirable but not essential
• Decision making, creative problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills including oral, written, and interpersonal, with the ability to interact with all levels and stakeholders both internally and externally
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Prioritization and organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines, maintain scheduled tasks, and respond to requests promptly.
• Proficient in electronic job management system, Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and Outlook), MYOB or equivalent
• Professional "Can-do" attitude.
