Accountant/Bookkeeper

We are a well-known manufacturing company and have been in business for over 32 years and now seeking a motivated Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team.
Key Tasks: Bookkeeping duties, including accounts receivable & payable, debt collection, reconciliations, payroll, reporting, BAS, IAS etc, cash flow support etcMonthly invoicingIssuing & receipting of purchase ordersInternal KPI reportingAssistance with quote follows ups/ sales supportSetup of new jobs within our system as well as ongoing project assistance as requiredManagement of properties, plant & equipment records, including motor vehiclesBusiness improvement works including implementation of new procedures as requiredProvide support to Managing Director & Project ManagerGeneral administrative tasks as required Position Requirements: Tax experience mandatorySolid understanding and experience of inter-entity transactions.Current XERO accounting software experience mandatoryCompetent computer skills.Good working knowledge of MS OfficeAbility to work autonomously & as part of a small teamUnderstanding of business/ financial operationsMust be thorough and have attention to detailBe willing and able to learn new softwareExcellent communication skills, a positive attitude and ability to fit inYou will be: Australian Citizen or Permanent residentAgree to a Police Check (If Successful) & Health CheckMature minded personWe offer a great work environment, a down to earth supportive team.
