We are now looking for Accountants to join our growing Australian team!
Position Duties
The responsibilities of the Accountant is to record day-to-day financial transactions and complete posting processes, verify if transactions are recorded correctly in the ledger, perform partial check of posting processes, and perform bank reconciliation. The Accountant is also tasked to enter data, maintain records, launch reports, process accounts receivables and payables, and assist to prepare the management accounts. Other Responsibilities
In charge of maintaining full sets of books for a portfolio of clients including fixed assets, register, raising journals and preparing financial reports in Xero accounting system activity statements, and payroll support for clients. You will work closely with the bookkeeping and tax accounting teams on a daily basis. Understand and adhere to financial regulations in Australia. Managing Xero and Dext accounts for the clients. Communication with clients. Prepare Quarterly/Annual BAS/IAS. Minimum Requirements
Degree/diploma in Accounting/Finance. Minimum of 3 years experience in an Australian public accounting firm. Professional certification are a definite plus - e.g. ACCA, CPA, or CA. Excellence command of Excel. Experience with XERO is a must. Preferably a Certified User. Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive and detail-oriented. Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients. Benefits
