Accountant/Analyst

THE COMPANY:Australian owned company supplying horse, dog and cat nutraceuticals.THE POSITION:As a detail-oriented and analytical professional you will assist the Financial Controller in all accounting functions from financial reports, data analytics and financial reporting for both AUS & US companies.
Working in a small team you have the full support of the Financial Controller and management.
This is an opportunity to grow with the business.This position is available for an immediate start of early 2025.RESPONSIBILITIES:Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reportsData analysis and reporting to support business decisionsMonitor financial performance vs budgetEnsuring compliance with all regulationsAssist in budget processCreate detailed financial models and forecasts to assist decision-makingAssist management in developing financial strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growthConduct financial analysis and ensuring integrity of dataCoordinate annual auditsAssist with BAS & IAS preparationLodge statutory obligationsAssist in managing the financial elements of the supply chainInventory analysis and reportingAssist in other areas of the Admin & Finance function of the businessSKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 3 years experience in a similar roleBachelor Degree in AccountingCA or CPA qualification preferredExperience with data analyticsDEAR - Highly regardedAdvanced Excel skillsUnderstanding of accounting principles & standardsExperience working in a small/medium sized wholesale/manufacturing businessHOURS: Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm#J-18808-Ljbffr
