We are looking for an accountant with 5+ more years' experience in Public Practice Accounting with the following strong attributes:
Prior small to medium business and taxation experience in a public practice,CA or CPA Qualification of working towards this (desirable)Experience in a broad range of tax, accounting and business matters,Ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks in a highly organised and methodical manner,Strong skills in the Microsoft office suite with an emphasis on Excel,Experience with Xero, Practice Manager or any other accounting software highly desirable,Strong written and verbal communications skills.ResponsibilitiesIf suitable for this position, your responsibilities will include:
Managing accounting and tax assignments from start to finish,Preparation and lodgement of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies,Tax Planning & dealing with key tax issues,Planning and business advisory, including preparation of cashflow budgets,Tax compliance work,Liaising directly with clients and external bodies (e.g.
