**Job Description:**

Farmers Insurance Exchange is seeking a motivated and independent Account Support Associate to join our remote team. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are driven to provide exceptional customer support, establish lasting relationships with clients, and enhance the overall experience for our policyholders. **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Interaction:** Manage and respond to inbound inquiries from clients via phone, email, and chat. Address concerns effectively while providing accurate information about policies, coverage options, and claims processes.

- **Account Management:** Assist clients with the maintenance of their insurance accounts by updating personal information, reviewing coverage limits, and ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with company policies.

- **Problem Solving:** Identify and analyze customer issues, using critical thinking skills to propose effective solutions in a timely manner.

- **Communication:** Create and deliver presentations as needed to explain policy modifications, coverage options, and claims protocols, ensuring clarity and understanding among clients.

- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and feedback in the CRM system to support ongoing improvements in service delivery.

- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments such as Underwriting, Claims, and Sales to facilitate a seamless customer experience and to escalate issues as needed.

- **Continuous Improvement:** Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and improve service delivery techniques.

- **Feedback Loop:** Gather customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement and communicate insights to management.

**Requirements:**

- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an insurance or related financial services environment.

- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, communications, or a related field is a plus.

- **Skills:**
- **Technical Proficiency:** Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- **Communication Skills:** Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to present ideas clearly and professionally.
- **Critical Thinking:** Ability to assess situations analytically and make informed decisions swiftly.
- **Organizational Skills:** Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
