About the role: As an Account Representative - Strategic Alliances at Tyro, you will be responsible for strengthening Tyro's presence and engagement within Telstra's retail stores, Bendigo bank branches and other new or expanded brands across Sydney and interstate.
This role requires excellent relationship-building skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to effectively communicate Tyro's value proposition to frontline retail/bank staff.
You will maximise store/branch visits, ensure strong engagement with teams, and occasionally host events to drive awareness and enthusiasm for Tyro's offerings.
What you'll do: Retail Engagement: Act as the Tyro ambassador in retail locations, building strong rapport with in-store teams and regional managers to effectively promote Tyro's products and services. Plan and execute daily schedules to maximise the number of store visits, ensuring a consistent Tyro presence across retail locations. Educate frontline staff on Tyro's offerings and value to their customers, answering questions and providing updates. Leverage and communicate incentives, sales and marketing campaigns and tools available to encourage sales. Attend as support to the Alliances Manager, as an ambassador at Telstra & Bendigo National conferences. Event Hosting and Facilitation: Organise and host occasional events to boost engagement and excitement for Tyro's products, from in-store demos to regional events. Coordinate with the partner teams to ensure events are well-aligned with retail staff schedules and goals. Travel and Logistics Management: Plan and execute monthly travel to interstate locations to support national engagement initiatives, strengthening Tyro's presence across regions. Efficiently manage travel logistics to maximise impact within budgetary guidelines. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional, retail and branch staff, acting as a trusted resource for Tyro information and support. Regularly gather feedback on Tyro products and services, providing insights to Tyro's internal teams to enhance partner relationships. Reporting and Insights: Record and report on visit outcomes, feedback, and engagement metrics to continuously improve strategy and results. Use Salesforce to maintain up-to-date records of store visits and partner interactions. Tyro expert and operational input: Learn and communicate the value of Tyro products by staying up to date with its offering, feature updates and services. Attend and input in relevant operational or stakeholder meetings to prepare for field engagements or coordinate any operational changes relevant to your role. What you'll bring: At least 2 years of experience in field sales, customer engagement, or similar roles within retail or service environments. Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with a proactive and enthusiastic approach. Ability to work independently and plan schedules effectively to maximise productivity. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to retail locations. Flexibility for monthly interstate travel. Strong verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in CRM systems and digital communication tools.
