Accounts receivable manager for an energy company based in Melbourne CBD paying up to $90,000.Your new companyThis energy company is looking for someone to join their finance team initially on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. This company is constantly growing due to market success, and it is a really exciting time to be part of this company. You will get exposure to all aspects of the business and be part of the growth.Your new roleIn this role you will be responsible for the management of the accounts receivable function, including the collection and credit functions. This is an autonomous role so you will not be managing anyone. However, you will be the main point of contact regarding this aspect of finance. Your duties will consist of:Management of relationships with external collection organisations.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the finance team, legal, external collection agencies and credit teams.Produce weekly payment reports for external agencies.Prepare aged debtors report and provide an overview to senior members.Ensure all credit and collections processes are compliant with the laws and the correct procedures are followed to recover the money.Suggest any process improvement to the function to streamline the collection process.What you'll need to succeedYou must be able to:Work autonomouslyExperience in supervision of credit management and debt recoveryContinuous process improvement mentalityHave strong communication skillsIf you have experience within the energy sector, this would be advantageous but is not essential.What you'll get in returnYou will receive a competitive salary paying up to $90,000 + super depending on experience.
