Meet your new teamOur Retail Sales team drives the growth of our business, working collaboratively with the product development, supply chain and marketing teams to bring new, innovative and in-demand products to the market. With many experienced BDM's and Account Managers across Australia, you'll be joining a highly motivated, fun and supportive team who leverage insights, analytics and network relationships to drive sales growth.
How You Will Make An ImpactAs our Account Manager, you will focus your efforts to achieve the territory's sales targets through providing exceptional business planning and onsite support to our retail customers, building trusted relationships with store teams to help drive sales of our products in store. This will see you:
Develop and execute a territory wide Business Plan to achieve set targets and KPI's, conducting regular call cycles across customers in your sales territory, arranging schedules to visit stores.Visiting stores to work with the store managers, franchisees, and key department heads to ensure detailed analysis of key commercial metrics and establish short and long-term strategies to drive success to goals/targets.Achieve the territory's sales & profitability budgets, obtaining purchase orders during visits.Merchandise our product range across all customers as required, assisting with product training, POS materials etc.Attend industry events e.g. trade shows as required to network and build new sales opportunities.Act as the voice of the customer; sharing and escalating customer feedback to product, marketing, service and admin teams.The successful candidateOur Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate Commercial Success Partnering With Independent Consumer Electronics Franchisees And Operators, Driving Activity That Contributes To Customer Success. Additionally You Will:
Have led call planning and completing outbound calls for appointment setting.Possess exceptional communication skills to engage with store teams including store/department managers, buyers, sales teams etc, assisting in product training and merchandising.Have B2B retail sales experience ideally having closed sales and obtained purchase orders during store visits.Demonstrate successfully meeting and exceeding set KPI's and targets.Be a self-starter, driven and ambitious to succeed, with your own vehicle and the ability to travel across the state.Have technical product knowledge of consumer electronics products.The Perks & BenefitsWorking at Directed means being a part of an innovative company that focuses on your success, wellbeing, growth and development. This flexible role requires being on the road for customer visits otherwise working from home for planning, with occasional travel interstate to our Melbourne head office for team events and training. On offer is a highly competitive salary package, car allowance, tools of the trade and a lucrative commission structure.
