Position Overview In this result-driven position, you'll be responsible for account management and the strategic development of the Queensland Helloworld Travel network through enhancement of profitability and mutual success of our Member Agents.
You must have excellent relationship management and negotiation skills to champion our products and services across the Helloworld Travel Pty Ltd. network.
This role will report into the National Sales Manager Branded & Associate Networks and will work closely with the other network heads (MTG, HWBT, Magellan) to identify and convert new opportunities.
What you're accountable for? Ensure retention and growth of existing Retail members, as per business plan targetAssist in preparing value proposition summaries for Helloworld Members (to support and inform Member retention strategies)Provide account management support to Queensland Helloworld Travel Members' enquiries and requests for operational assistance.Be empowered to provide input to the strategic direction and management of the Helloworld Travel programsEnsure the Helloworld Travel value proposition is delivered, communicated, and demonstrated to all members by supporting contract analysis and modellingSupport the development of revenue management information reporting to Queensland Helloworld MembersAssist in implementing and communicating new products and travel industry supplier discounts and dealsCollaboratively build strategic business plans with Queensland network members and partnersImplement and drive usage of essential member business productivity and improvement tools, including online booking technologyWork with contracting to ensure that agent agreements are current and that special conditions are effectively communicated and understood.About you Tertiary education qualifications in Business or a related disciplineStrong commercial acumenAbility to drive results across multiple regionsAbility to develop and execute revenue generating strategiesThe qualities of a self-starter who has the ability to work autonomouslyExperience in achieving key strategic objectives based on individual key performance Indicators (KPI's)Experience in maintaining close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders/partnersProven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsManagement experience and a thorough understanding of the retail travel industryOther areas that will be well regarded: Someone who is well networked and well respected within the Travel IndustryHelloworld Travel Employee Benefits What do we offer Helloworld Travel employees?
