Minimum Qualifications: 3yrs+ account management and/or business development experience in the IT industryExperience in enterprise technology and business solutions salesSales experience with a focus on quota-carrying rolesExceptional communication and presentation skillsAbout the Role: Amazon Web Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our Public Sector team in Sydney.
The territory covers a portfolio of government customers across New South Wales.
You will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key decision makers, and working with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territoryChallenge outdated approaches to ITUtilise internal resources to drive customer outcomesIncrease revenue across a portfolio of customersDrive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targetsCreate and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new businessCreate and articulate a compelling value proposition to customersAnalyze sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve the strategyAccelerate customer adoption through education and engagementBuild, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategyWork with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunitiesAssist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud servicesDevelop long-term strategic relationships with key accountsAbout the Team: Amazon values diverse experiences.
