The Role 

As an Account Manager, your role will be focused on the APAC Mining accountswho are using Seequent software for geological modelling, analysis,visualization and decision making. We are continuing to experience rapid growthin our Mining Segment in recent years and there are now a significant number ofsizeable accounts in the APAC region. Seequent's portfolio of products is alsogrowing, through development and acquisition. To realise the growth in existingaccounts the business requires dedicated commercial / account managementfocus. 
The goal of this role is to enable the region to meet its strategic objectiveof sustainable, long-term sales growth. You will be working closely with theSales Director, Mining to define a strategy in the accounts with the aim tofurther ingrain our solutions and uncover and progress otheropportunities. Day to day you are guiding the sale of software seats,training and engaging with internal technical experts and advisors to maximisean account's potential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Account Management Work with the Sales Director, Mining to ensure the sales activities lead to the achievement of company growth and profitabilityStay abreast of all activity associated with your assigned accounts. Understand who to engage with in the greater business to further opportunities that may ariseUnderstand our customers technical problems, client needs, and set meetings with appropriate Seequent team members to further these opportunitiesManage and lead the negotiation and closing of business to business and sales contractsBe a CRM champion by keeping information accurate recordsParticipate and lead monthly sales and annual target forecasting of your assigned accountsConduct regular reporting to clients of their software usageLead quarterly client catch up meeting with your assigned accountsUnderstand and quantify potential opportunities associated with our current accountsEnsuring that all opportunities are well documented and identified in the CRM for forecastingCollaborate with the Sales Director, Mining and Customer Solutions Specialists/Technical Leads to accurately assess all opportunities in the pipeline and prioritise appropriatelyProduct and Domain Knowledge: Through training or existing knowledge, develop a fundamental understanding of the software products and be aware of the benefits and value statementsLearn from the customer regarding how, what, where and why they are using our product and then feeding back that information to the appropriate teams within the business and recording this within the CRMHigh level knowledge of the value proposition of Seequent mining solutionsIn order to be successful inthis role, you should have 5+ years sales experience (Software and/or Geosciences).Demonstrated capability with enterprise sales and solution selling.Strategic account management and negotiation – having the ability to set a strategy through robust account planning and executing this plan by engaging with relevant stakeholders across your managed accounts and greater Seequent to achieve value.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Excellent communication, presentation, decision making and prioritization skills.Have exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.Highly motivated, with an ability to work independently and prioritize your work.Proactive approach – identifying ways to improve processes, take opportunities to learn when presented.Research shows that someindividuals, particularly women and underrepresented groups, are less likely toapply for jobs unless they meet every single criterion.
