Sr Electronic Design Engineer
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
New designs or changes to existing designs to address product life-cycle events such as obsolescence, supply-chain shortages, or new customer needs as they arise.
Perform root-cause analyses of field failures using engineering analyses and common problem-solving methods.
Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team to provide ongoing support with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with electro-mechanical assemblies.
Work with manufacturing to create tests, procedures, or processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure a quality product reaches our customers.
Create prototypes for experimental designs, assemble, and test modifications to existing designs.
Develop and maintain test procedures and test circuit schematics that align with product specifications and design requirements.
Assist with testing associated with NPI process and product qualification.
Manage/tracking software tools and licenses used in manufacturing testing and product development.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related with 3+ years of experience.
Electrical engineering background and understanding of hardware engineering principles.
Experience in schematic capture and layout tools utilizing DxDesigner or Altium.
Experience designing and developing electronic circuits and systems.
Experience troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to the component level.
Experience managing field returns and quality issues.
Experience in EE Safety and EMC compliance for IT equipment or similar.
Experience in analog design using op-amps, MOSFETs, switching regulators.
Some experience with chip-level programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of microprocessor design including PMIC and startup power synchronization.
Knowledge in design of RF card readers such as NFC or 125 KHz RF readers.
Experience in compliance with CE marking requirements for intentional radiators such as RF card readers.
Experience in circuit design using MIPI or LVDS for displays.
Experience in layout using PADS Professional, Expedition or Altium Designer.
Experience with LabView, Python and C/Assembly programming.

The pay range for this position is $86,100 to $123,800, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
