About the company: Timberlink Australia is a leading-edge international producer of softwood timber products for both domestic and export markets.Timberlink has grown to become a modern, multi-country business that employs almost 550 people, delivering scale and flexibility.Our focus is on growing value not volume.Our strategy for success isn't complicated; we continue to build a professional, high performing, customer focused business.About the role: We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Account Manager who is responsible for Sales turnover & volume, including forecasting.The successful candidate will be charged with maintaining and growing market share across the Tasmanian territory.This permanent, full time position reports directly to the State Sales Manager and will be based at our Bell Bay site, 30 minutes from Launceston, but will have responsibility for customers all throughout Tasmania.Key responsibilities include: Full Account Management Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of customer and competitor activity within your area Support and lead customer planning and account reviews Identifying customer opportunities and developing plans to generate sales Facilitating opportunities and lead generation from our customer channels Serve as the initial point of contact for customer claims and complaints, and manage the process whilst maintaining the customer relationship Sales forecasting and developing detailed sales plans designed to achieve an optimal profitable sales mix Building multi-tiered relationships with decision makers and influencers by developing a full understanding of customers' businesses Essential personal attributes: Customer focused and service oriented Proactive, professional and responsible Excellent verbal and written communication skills Motivated and focused on exceeding targets Required experience: 3-5 years' sales experience within a B2B environment Experience managing sales activities using an established sales process, including (but not limited to) reporting, budgeting, cycle planning, forecasting, and account planning and management Proven ability to proactively turn customer opportunities into sales orders and generate new business The successful candidate will be provided with all tools of the trade including car, mobile and laptop and will be paid an excellent salary based upon experience and performance.If you fit the above criteria please submit your application including your cover letter and CV to ****** www.timberlinkaustralia.com.au NO AGENCIES OR THIRD PARTY APPLICATIONS PLEASE.YOU MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN AUSTRALIA.
