Our company is well established nationally, offering total building materials supply solutions for over a century.Big River Canberra is a leading supplier of Formwork Supplies, Timber Flooring, Plywood & Building Products, supplying to customers based in Canberra and interstate.We are seeking a motivated go-getter to join our Canberra team.
Your key focus will be servicing, maintaining, and growing the existing Big River Group customer base.
You will also look to grow your portfolio through cold calling and investigating leads.You'll spend most of your time on the road visiting customers on-site, building professional and positive relationships, influencing buying habits, and upselling our premium brands.
You will also:Book sales meetings and action regular call cycles.Develop gap plans for potential customers.Maintain positive relationships and promote the Big River Group.Skills/ExperienceTo be successful in this role, the ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:Solid sales experience.Construction Industry Experience is highly regarded, though not essential.A commitment to providing excellent customer service.Be a natural team player.Great follow-up skills and excellent attention to detail.Have excellent communication skills, in person, on the phone, and by email.A commitment to continual improvement.Experience in a similar role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
