Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.You will focus on providing exceptional customer service to current customers, whilst building a sales strategy to approach the market to develop new opportunities aligned to branch and company goals. You will also be partnering with key stakeholders across production, transport, and customer service. Training will be provided to an experienced Account Manager looking to further develop their career.This opportunity includes a competitive remuneration package including a laptop, phone, company vehicle and participation in our profit share process.What Will You Do?Based in Canberra and covering the region, you will be:Identifying and developing business opportunities with industry stakeholders through strategic business development activity, research and industry networking events in the residential building area.Engaging with designers & architects, residential builders and regulatory bodies to stimulate interest in, increase knowledge of and inspire them to use our products.Liaising with internal sales and marketing teams within your business unit to connect channel partners with suitable customers to deliver solutions and residential outcomes.Monitoring customer activity and market conditions for further opportunities and/or risks.More About YouAlong with your ability to understand and uncover customer needs and to transform these into improved product and service offerings, you will bring:Experience in the development and execution of end-to-end targeted sales and growth strategies for targeted markets.Business-to-business sales experience.Effective relationship management and influencing capability.Commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing and margin and its impact on profitability.Why BlueScopeAs we're creating strength for the future through our people, products and solutions, BlueScope gives you opportunities to innovate, learn and grow with the business, supported by inclusive leadership and a positive, passionate team.
