About the Role:
Our client is seeking a driven and results-focused Account Manager to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail clients, aligning their goals with the company's product offerings. You'll create strategic account plans to meet sales targets, grow market share, and deliver excellent service to key partners.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail clients, ensuring their sales objectives are met with tailored solutions. Create and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales growth, increase market share, and provide high-level service. Manage a portfolio of key accounts, driving distribution, sales, and promotional objectives. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to meet annual sales and profit targets. Collaborate with marketing and category teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. Negotiate pricing, trading terms, and promotional activities to deliver value for clients. Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive business success. Meet or exceed sales budgets and KPIs. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support long-term business growth strategies. Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of FMCG experience in sales roles such as Channel Representative or Territory Manager. Proven experience in account management and relationship-building at senior executive levels. Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and exceed client expectations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build lasting relationships. Experience in managing and developing people is highly regarded.
