Account Manager

PPG are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our Commercial team in Morningside.
The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Sales Manager and be responsible for driving the growth of key customers as well as identifying new business opportunities to achieve profit and growth for PPG across Brisbane and surrounds.
Prior experience in a sales or account management role, with an understanding of the Australian paint market, will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities Developing and improving the customer service propositions in line with our brand strategiesLeading, maintaining, and growing a portfolio of key trade accountsCollaborating with trade applicators, stores, commercial and residential builders, and occasionally architects, strata's, and specifiersAchieving sales, growth, and profit targetsDelivering high level customer relationship management that promotes service excellence and customer retentionQualifications Previous Account Management experience preferably within the building materials marketAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively, while also collaborating with the team to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and PPGExcellent communication skills – you will easily establish trust and make people feel comfortable with your easy-going approachOpen, honest, and authentic in your dealingsA proven record in building new relationships or accounts and growing existing businessCurrent Driver's licenseIf you are someone who wants to lead change and enjoys working with a team, apply today!
