Position Purpose The purpose of this position is to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and potential clients of the Company and negotiate profitable sales to those clients in a professional manner, in order to ensure achievement of gross profit incomes to budget levels established by the Company.
Areas of Responsibility Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume with assigned accounts. Coordinates activities on projects with other Account Managers as required. Identifies opportunities for new accounts. Identifies key buying influences within each project and their roles. Identifies product and service opportunities. Uses effectively and maintains accuracy of information in internal CRM tools and Interface Advance selling process to document status and progress on all selling opportunities. Timely and accurate use of the CRM, and meets agreed KPI's. Attends industry functions to develop broad market awareness and external awareness of Interface through networking at events. Develops and maintains an account map of all identified accounts. Develops territory and customer visit plans. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel to meet customer expectations. Produces and works to an annual plan for product/service review of each client. Extensive local, interstate, and overnight travel will be required. Qualifications and Experience Required 3 years + of Account Management/ B2B Sales experience in the construction industry essential. Industry or associated industry knowledge. Capable of working professionally while under pressure in competitive situations. An understanding of the financial aspects of the business.
