About the role

This full-time Account Manager role at Ridgewood Timber Pty. Ltd. in Port Adelaide, SA offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of high-quality timber products. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, providing outstanding customer service, and driving sales growth within your portfolio.
What you'll be doing Proactively manage a portfolio of existing client accounts to foster long-term, profitable relationshipsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, pitch Ridgewood Timber's products and services, and close salesProvide expert advice and support to customers, ensuring their needs are met and their satisfaction is maintainedCollaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure efficient delivery and exceptional customer experienceDevelop and implement sales strategies to achieve individual and team targetsRegularly report on sales performance and pipeline to managementWhat we're looking for Proven experience as an Account Manager or Sales Representative in the timber or building materials industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customersStrong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering customer satisfactionProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsA valid driver's licence and the willingness to travel within the SA What we offer
