Job Description The Account Manager, HCV is responsible for managing assigned territory (SA & NT) and targeted accounts whilst building strong customer relationships and executing brand strategy and tactics in the field, including sales performance.
This role involves selling to a diverse group of customers in hospital, prisons, and retail channel settings.
Your key stakeholders could include:
Hospital account selling to Specialists (e.g., Gastroenterologists, ID Physicians) and associated healthcare professionals including Hepatitis NursesWorking with Justice Health and the prison systemFocusing on community Health Care professionals working in Drug and Alcohol Clinics, Sexual Health Clinics, General Practice, and Pharmacy.This is a 4-day, part-time position.
Travel will be required to cover SA metropolitan and regional areas and Northern Territory as well as internal and external conferences.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc.
in order to meet or exceed those objectives.Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.Proactively serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted customer relationships.Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers.Report any adverse events within 24 hours as per AbbVie's policies and procedures.Participate in AbbVie's WHS programs and promote a safe work environment.Adhere to AbbVie's internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.Other ad hoc duties as requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent.Proven track record of success in selling and exceptional presentation skills.Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools.Operates effectively in a matrix environment.Leads by example; consistently displays positive behaviors and peer coaching.Influences others and is viewed as a credible and respected role model.Ability to think strategically and be well-planned across territories and market landscapes.Proven track record of success in sales performance within respective therapeutic areas.Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling approach accordingly.Flexibility and Availability: We recognize and respect employees' right to refuse contact outside of their working hours.
