Robinson is currently seeking an Account Manager to join the team in Sydney.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing retention and driving growth within a portfolio of high profile, high value accounts.
As the primary point of accountability, you will be responsible for customer advocacy, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating to deliver on customer commitments, using your broad understanding of C.H.
Robinson's industry leading modes, services, products, technology, and people.
Location: Sydney.
Hybrid - 3 days in office per week split across Customer's and C.H.
Robinson office.
About the Role: The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of SOPs, KPIs, and other account specific metrics.Contribute to the development and management of the annual account plan and budget.Provide updates to the internal team in addition to reviewing on a quarterly basis & making adjustments as necessary.Sell and negotiate at a core/strategic level.Penetrate the account by making contacts and building relationships at multiple levels and in multiple departments within the account.Establish and maintain relationships with day-to-day/weekly/monthly contacts.Conduct regular business reviews, leveraging internal analytics and market intelligence to gain customer insights, and understand positive and negative trends in data, to uncover new opportunities for growth, increase sales, and retain and grow the business by presenting strategic solutions to the customer.Consistently ensure execution of business through local Branch procedures.Act as an advocate for customers, internally conveying customer-specific needs across the organization, to ensure proper alignment and prioritization of resources.Create/Review internal account metrics on a regular basis.Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or branch specific requirements.Preferred experience / qualifications:

To be successful in this role, it is expected you will have:
At least 5 years Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry experience in managing key customer accounts.Strong demonstrable commercial acumen and an understanding of supply chain and logistics business requirements.A demonstrable track record of customer relationship management.Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Intermediate-Advanced MS Office Skills.Able to travel domestically as required.Disclaimer:
