Our client is a proud Australian success story, known for being a leading supplier and distributor of a diverse range of consumer goods, sold across Australia and New Zealand's leading retailers.
They are a fast-paced, dynamic company, that prioritises innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
As they continue to grow and grow and grow, they are seeking an Account Manager to join them in this newly created role, to manage and own customer relationships across the Far North Queensland territory.
The Opportunity Inheriting a vast network of customers, including independents, corporates and franchises, the Account Manager will expertly manage and nurture key accounts, while driving business development opportunities through expert business planning and mechanising initiatives.
With the mandate of achieving the territories sales targets, the Account Manager will ensure their customers are supported with product knowledge, training and the appropriate marketing collateral that will support further sales growth and build strong brand sentiment.
The Account Manager will ensure the maintenance of trusted relationships across the customer base, but will support the wider business in driving new localised opportunities with reference to the operations overall business strategy.
Skills & Experience Required The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years' B2B retail sales experience, ideally with exposure to sectors such as consumer electronics or automotive products, with other related category experience being highly advantageous.
Further, the candidate must be able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, while also possessing clear and established commercial acumen.
Given the territory this role is responsible for, the candidate must have a valid drivers licence and car, with an additional ability to travel interstate, from time to time.
