The territory covers a portfolio of Commonwealth government customers across the Australian Capital Territory.

Key job responsibilitiesIncrease adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territoryChallenge outdated approaches to ITUtilise internal resources to drive customer outcomesIncrease revenue across a portfolio of customersDrive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targetsCreate and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new businessCreate and articulate a compelling value propositions to customersAnalyse sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve the strategyAccelerate customer adoption through education and engagementBuild, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategyWork with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunitiesAssist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud servicesAbout the teamWe are a collaborative team that treats stakeholders and teammates like customers, and aim to ensure everything we deliver provides the highest value for our customers.
We are responsible for building training, authoring best practice enablement content, and disseminating best practices at scale, that directly impact our customers' success as they operate their workloads on AWS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of technical sales in B2B environments, in a solution-sales / technology-related environment experienceKnowledge with existing and developing technologiesExperience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalentSales experience with a focus on quota-carrying rolesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience selling cloud and or SaaS solutions into governmentExperience working with consulting partners and system integratorsWhy AWSAmazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
