The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Sector Education Sales team is a key partner across all education sectors (K-12, Higher Ed and Research). You will be a part of the AWS team working with academic and technical education stakeholders implementing cloud computing and associated technologies to scale and support stronger education outcomes.
We are looking for a candidate focused on increasing awareness and adoption of AWS in Higher Education and Research. Do you have the drive to help further establish Amazon as the main cloud platform provider with institutions looking to develop and implement their 2025/2030 Digital Futures strategies?
Key job responsibilities Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers Drive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business Create and articulate compelling value propositions to customers Review sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement Build, develop, and execute on an account and territory strategy Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts A day in the life You will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders, working with internal and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills experience Experience in enterprise technology and business solutions sales Sales experience with a focus on quota-carrying roles PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience selling cloud and or SaaS solutions into government Experience working with consulting partners and system integrators Experience working within the education sector Acknowledgement of country In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
