Account Manager & Application Specialist – Food Science Division

OverviewWe currently have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic technical sales professional to join our Asia Pacific Food Science Division team, with a territory covering Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands. Because of this Pacific wide focus, your location of where you are based to succeed at this role isn't crucial, however we have physical office locations in suburban Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.Reporting to the Global Strategic Account Manager for Food Science, you will be responsible for designing and successfully implementing a sales management plan, exceeding customers' expectations, training and onboarding new accounts, and meeting (or exceeding) your territory sales targets.How You'll Make an Impact:Direct sales and customer satisfaction within the designated territory in Australia and New ZealandChannel Partner management for Pacific Island locations where Bio-Rad's Food Science sales are managed by distributorsManaging and growing the Food Science Division (FSD) business across PacificProvide in field application, training support and troubleshooting to customersConduct system installations, and trainingProvide high level technical support to our customersWhat You Bring:A substantial technical background in Food Science or Food MicrobiologyA Life Science or related degree, preferably in microbiology or food microbiology and previous laboratory experienceA passion to provide a high standard of customer service and a strong drive to achieve resultsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent negotiation skillsA willingness to regularly travel throughout the region.If you have experience that aligns with the responsibilities of this role, we encourage you to apply.Who We Are:For 70 years, Bio-Rad has focused on advancing the discovery process and transforming the science and healthcare.
