Working in a team of 3 (in a wider office of 30) with a fun culture your core focus will be managing your own book of mixed SME clients with offshore processing support and senior support from your Team Leader. This company also has an in-house claims team.Client Consultation: Assess business needs and risks through phone consultations and face-to-face meetings with clients. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and recommend suitable insurance coverage. Market Research: Compare insurance products and providers to find optimal options. Quote Presentation: Present insurance quotes clearly, explaining terms and coverage. Negotiation: Negotiate favourable terms and pricing with insurance companies. Insurance Placement: Facilitate the placement of insurance policies with chosen providers. Processing Tasks: Handle documentation, renewals, and other administrative tasks related to policies. Ongoing Support: Provide continuous advice and policy management as clients' needs evolve. You: 2+ years' experience within general insurance broking Role suitable for an existing SME broker or an Assistant looking to make the step up and grow into the role Tier 1 essential Ideally some experience client facing (in conjunction with a senior is considered) Super friendly team player with a positive attitude Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Ability to prioritise and manage your time well
