Account Executive – SaaS Start-Up Sydney – Permanent Up to 150k base + super + comms About the Organisation We are partnering with a great new start-up with a game-changing e-commerce solution. The product transforms e-commerce operations from reactive to proactive by using real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and AI to prevent issues before they arise. This approach saves time, reduces complaints by up to 90%, and improves customer satisfaction and retention.

As their sales opportunities continue to grow, the business is looking for it's first Account Executive on the ground in Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Full Cycle Account Executive with a background in e-commerce who is driven to succeed in a start-up environment. We're looking for a determined individual who thrives on challenges and is eager to contribute to our ambitious goals and success. The Role You will play a pivotal role in accelerating our market penetration and revenue growth in ANZ. Your main responsibility will be to acquire new business logos in the retail sector. They have identified a list of 500 top prospects using data insights to define their Ideal Customer Profile. You will manage the entire sales cycle from outreach to deal closure, collaborating with the Co-Founder on larger opportunities. This is a rare chance to be a foundational team member in an organization poised to revolutionize the e-commerce industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets and expand our customer base. Manage the sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and activity tracking using CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation. Proactively engage Marketing and E-commerce Managers at retail companies through a multi-channel outreach strategy (email, phone, LinkedIn) to schedule meetings. Understand prospects' needs and clearly articulate how our services can meet those needs. Prepare and deliver demo/sales presentations to showcase our solutions effectively. Craft personalized journeys for prospects using storytelling techniques to deliver impactful proposals and presentations. Oversee deals from initiation to closure, with C support on larger opportunities. What We Are Looking For: 1-3 years of B2B sales experience in the e-commerce sector; contacts within the retail vertical (Marketing and E-commerce managers are a plus) Proven track record of managing a full sales cycle, particularly in acquiring new logos. Ability to work autonomously with outcome-based objectives while consistently achieving targets. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in cold outreach tools such as Outreach, Smartleads, Dripify, Clay, and similar platforms. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences during meetings. Experience in a startup environment and a clear understanding of building systems from the ground up is preferred.
