This role will focus on Commercial/Distributors and Retail Discounters and will report into theSales Director. The successful candidate will assist in delivering & executing the sales, profit and growth plans for the Pental business.Qualifications & experience2+ years Sales/Administration experience working with FMCG retailers – preferably Commercial/Distributors & Retail DiscountersStrategic thinking with the ability to translate company/brand goals into a commercial planExperienced user of financial/ forecasting/reporting systemsExperience with scan data e.g. CircanaKnowledge of PROMAX desirableKnowledge of Cleaning Products is an advantageKey responsibilities include:Management of National & State based Commercial, Distributors, Retail Discounters channels.Develop a Commercial, Distributors, Retail Discounters strategy for the launch of new lines to market.Achieve NSV and GM budget targets for the financial year across all sales channels.Manage trade spend to Pental guidelines.Identify new opportunities, develop & implement promotional strategies across the Commercial, Distributors, Retail Discounters channels.to drive sales growth.Managing trade relationships across several market categories to achieve budgeted top line sales and profit.Working closely with available sales resource to develop strategies such as new distribution gains, share of shelf to grow national/state business.Managing and attending category review presentations for all relevant channels.Monthly sales volume & revenue forecasting: ensuring accuracy of forecasting is achieved 80%+Attend all meetings when required, Marketing & Sales, New Product Development & S&OP weekly meetings.Attend trade conferences/meetings when required.
