DescriptionWTW is seeking a full-time Account Executive to join our growing team within the exciting SME business.Key to the success of our online SME business will be maintaining and supporting relationships, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills, and a service ethic that ensures a quality service is always delivered to our clients. The successful candidate will be an essential part of the broader service proposition that complements the online customer experience. This new role offers an opportunity to grow and develop with the business and provides an opportunity to engage regularly with colleagues worldwide.The RoleAs a member of a high-performing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:Developing and maintaining business relationships with prospective and existing clients.Reinforcing the online service proposition with a personalized human touch when needed and confidently educating clients on available online insurance solutions.Providing broader support to clients who may encounter difficulties navigating an online journey or during challenging circumstances.Contributing to the overall achievement of the annual growth target for the SME business.Supporting strategic relationships with carriers, including proposition development, carrier integration, and product refresh.Promoting the SME brand within the insurance industry both locally and nationally.Supporting the end-to-end customer journey, including performing administrative tasks that ensure a seamless and efficient client experience.QualificationsThe RequirementsExperience as an Account Broker or Account Executive within the insurance or insurance broking industry.Proven ability to understand and meet clients' needs.Understanding of how customers interact with online platforms and ability to optimize the digital experience to improve customer satisfaction and conversion rates.Ability to work effectively with online insurance distribution platforms and back-end systems, ensuring smooth policy issuance and customer onboarding.Excellent communication skills to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and engagingly, especially in a digital-first interaction environment.Ability to guide clients through self-service features, helping them navigate the online platform for policy purchases, renewals, or claims.Tier 1 (insurance broking) qualification and demonstrated commercial acumen.Proficient in Word, Excel, and knowledge of PowerPoint.Strong oral and written communication skills, whether one-on-one or in a group.Professional, reliable, and able to work autonomously with minimal guidance.Thrives in a team-oriented environment and is always willing to help colleagues.Why Join WTW?WTW provides a competitive benefits package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply):Annual bonusCompany paid salary continuance insuranceLife and TPD insuranceHybrid workingNetworks (Gender, Wellbeing, Pride)Career Growth – internal opportunities and development programsAt WTW, we trust you to know your work and the people, tools and environment you need to be successful.
