Billing Sales is a team of deep functional and technical specialists who both lead and advise on deals for one of the most strategically important products in Stripe's portfolio.What you'll doAs an Account Executive, Billing (Enterprise) at Stripe, you will use your sales and product expertise to drive revenue growth by building relationships with prospective users and turning them into happy Stripe customers. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and closing to identifying new opportunities to expand Stripe's customer base. You will collaborate with the marketing, product marketing, and product teams to develop deep product and industry knowledge and drive strategic deals. You will be instrumental in leading in-depth product discussions with prospective customers and building and executing against our go-to-market strategy.We're looking for someone who can execute on long-term sales strategies, engage with internal and external stakeholders, align on technical and business requirements with product teams, build value in competitive situations, lead commercial negotiations, and close deals.ResponsibilitiesWork with Stripe prospects and customers to drive growth through expansion and new revenue streamsOwn the full sales cycle, from business case development, to deal structuring and negotiating, to closeDrive deal strategy and commercial negotiations for large, complex new business dealsDevelop relationships with executive stakeholders within your book of business, deeply understanding problems they are solving and helping drive to solutionsBe responsible for account mapping and coordinating effective meetings with the appropriate internal and external stakeholdersLead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process and help shape the Stripe sales cultureWho you areYou are an adept salesperson, capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organisation, including CEO, CFO, and CTO. You are used to building value in competitive situations and enjoy working on complex products that require deep product understanding, combined with technical knowledge. You're an organised self-starter, an excellent communicator who is highly analytical and has a track record for improving processes around you.We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum requirements8+ years of sales experience, preferably selling billing or financial products, with a track record of top performanceAbility to understand technical requirements and craft comprehensive solutions and utilise strategic thinking to solve complex customer problemsAbility to work well with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally across strategic business transformation projectsThe ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environmentAn enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentalityStrong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholdersSuperior verbal and written communication skills in EnglishProven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreementsStrong interest in technology and a deep understanding of billing solutionsYou are authentic & bring your own style/sense of humour to any organisation!Preferred qualifications3+ years of experience specifically in selling revenue cloud, billing & invoicing, accounting solutionsProven ability to sell complex software and hardwareOffice-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is A$326,400 - A$489,600. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant's location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
