Our role: The Account Director is responsible for ensuring that our Local Government customers continue to derive value from Objective solutions and introducing them to exciting and innovative new solutions.
We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit.

We need someone who understands local government.
You may have worked in local government previously, as many of our team members have, or have been in a role previously dealing with local government.
Sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
This role reports to the Global VP of Government Solutions and is an individual contributor with no people management responsibilities.
A Day In Your Role: Demonstrate domain expertise in Local Government while providing value and insight to key stakeholders.
Leverage a strong network and develop relevant industry contacts and influencers.
Achieve annual revenue targets for the sale of software and professional services.
Develop an appropriate pipeline to achieve current and future years' quota(s) through personal prospecting and effective marketing programs.
Maximise customer satisfaction and retention.
Align closely with allocated Customer Success Managers to achieve successful outcomes for Objective and our clients.
Your Skills, Experience and Beyond: Proven sales ability or equivalent local government experience, including outstanding negotiation skills and the ability to persuade at all levels of business, including GM, CEO, CIO, CFO, and Dept.
Heads. Experienced in Solution Selling, Strategic Selling, or Challenger Selling methodologies.
Consultative approach to selling with highly developed interpersonal/relationship-building skills.
Proactive opportunity and pipeline management using Salesforce or other CRM.
Able to manage and execute long sales cycles (6-24 months).
Proven history of effective Territory/Opportunity/Account planning, Account coverage, and campaign analysis skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Works both autonomously and as an effective part of a team.
Highly analytical with creative and effective problem-solving skills.
Must have the ability to travel to Local Governments (both metropolitan and regional) across multiple states of Australia.
