We are seeking a seasoned Account Director to lead and manage our client accounts with strategic vision and impeccable execution.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing high-profile clients, a deep understanding of marketing and communications strategies, mentoring a team, and the ability to build and nurture strong client relationships.
You will be managing a team of 3-4 account managers and overseeing approximately 20-30 clients.
Key Responsibilities: Client & Team Management:Oversee approximately 20-30 clients with 3-4 team account managers under your leadership.Mentor, guide, and support your team, managing performance agreements and expectations.Lead all new client onboarding, growth, and management, including assisting in creating initial strategies.Sit in on all Tier 1 client meetings and manage client communication across all accounts.Support in troubleshooting all client issues. Strategic Oversight:Set monthly KPIs across clients and review monthly reporting on client performance.Critically assess digital marketing strategies every 3 months for each account and pivot where necessary.Ensure the team maintains an average 8.5 client satisfaction score across all clients.Ensure all digital campaigns are performing at optimum levels, maintaining a minimum of 3x ROAS.End-to-end campaign management, including developing strategy, presenting recommendations to clients, and producing clear briefs on time and on budget. Financial Management:Manage client budgets and invoicing.Monthly management of project profitability, managing client budgets of hours worked and spend across all platforms.Identify and manage potential upsells or new opportunities across all accounts. Desired Skills and Experience:Minimum 3 years of agency experience.Minimum 1 year management experience.Experience with paid strategies and data analysis (Meta Ads, Google Ads, Pinterest Ads & LinkedIn Ads).Excellent strategic and time management skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Team management skills.Understanding of all social media platforms.Background in marketing and/or business essential.Passion for growth and development, both personally and for clients.Confidence in presenting ideas and strategic decisions to both team members and clients.Familiarity with software such as Xero, Monday.com, Sked, and others is ideal but not essential.Sales and business development knowledge is a huge bonus.
