And we have fun doing it! We are now looking for an innovative and accomplished Account Director to join the team based in Pyrmont.
You'll need to be passionate about working in the B2 B and B2 C PR space and be ready to hit the ground running by leading an established portfolio of clients.
Commercially driven, and a calm, considered presence, you will ensure the highest standards are set and modelled.
You'll support and mentor the team, and work in true partnership with Hotwire clients, providing clear counsel due to your in-depth understanding of their business and the Australian media sector.
You'll ensure everything happens when it's meant to and that your team achieves amazing results.
Working with your account teams you'll be involved in developing and executing integrated PR & communications campaigns for a wide variety of clients.
You will also help the Hotwire team champion the great work they do and have many opportunities to access the fantastic learning and development programs on offer.
Your other day to day activities will involve: Proactively build the business pipeline with new business opportunities to ensure it is consistently healthy Manage the development and administration of our lead management 'system' and ongoing CRM (Salesforce) Liaise with the Leadership Team, broader Agency and Enero network companies to identify existing business contacts and develop plans to leverage if and when suitable In conjunction with account leads prepare quarterly and annual reviews of major accounts, key personnel and significant and impactful industry shifts Convert existing 'warm leads' from project-based clients to a top tier client through a sound understanding of the client's business challenges Assess and lead RFPs and RFQs, engaging and working with the appropriate team members to do so Desired skills and experience: 5+ years in a similar role within a PR/communications agency or PR/comms consulting Ability to plan and drive campaigns and client relationships The ability to think strategically and offer strategic consult to clients A key drive for business growth through existing relationships and new business Can build and develop strategies that will have meaningful business impact for clients and Hotwire A true team player and leader, supporting the development of the wider team Strong people leadership capability with demonstrated experience managing and mentoring juniors A curious, creative and proactive thinker Ability to work in a fast-paced environment An understanding of the B2 B / B2 C tech PR landscape is highly desirable A passion for tech Hungry to learn and always looking to improve on performance Can successfully build rapport and relationships with team members, clients and journalists What we offer on top of awesome clients and award-winning work: Understanding that life doesn't always fit around the 9-5, and that work/life balance is crucial Freedom and support to be limitless within the business A connected, courageous and friendly team creating adventurous work whilst still having a lot of fun An exciting and rewarding long-term career, bringing constant challenge and fresh opportunities as you develop A full Learning & Development Curriculum The opportunity to have global reach within our offices, with global mobility opportunities Bring your dog to work Employee Assistance Program and Wellbeing initiatives Social events, diversity initiatives and team days Birthday leave And more!
